# Available Question Types

> All question types in AgenSoal: multiple choice, essay, true/false, matching, and other interactive types.

AgenSoal supports **17 question types**. You choose the type when you add or edit a question in the editor, and one question set can mix several types.

## Basic types

| Type | How it works |
| - | - |
| **Pilihan Ganda** (multiple choice) | One correct answer |
| **Pilihan Ganda Bobot** (weighted multiple choice) | Each option carries different points. Good for SJT or TKP questions |
| **Pilihan Ganda Kompleks** (multiple answers) | More than one correct answer |
| **Benar/Salah** (true/false) | A quick two-way choice |
| **Benar/Salah Kompleks** (complex true/false) | A table of statements, each judged true or false |
| **Isian Singkat** (short answer) | The participant types a short answer |
| **Isian Singkat Kompleks** | One question with sub-questions a, b, c |
| **Uraian** (essay) | A long answer |

## Interactive and higher-order types

| **Menjodohkan** (matching) | Match left and right pairs |
| **Urutkan Kata** (word order) | Arrange scrambled words into a sentence |
| **Drag & Drop** | Drag items into the right category |
| **Susun Urutan** (sequencing) | Put steps or items in order |
| **Lengkapi Huruf** (complete letters) | Fill in the empty letter boxes |
| **Pilihan Ganda Rumpang** (cloze choice) | Pick the right word for each gap |
| **Drag Drop Rumpang** | Drag words into the gaps |
| **Highlight Teks** | Highlight the answer inside a reading passage |
| **Listening Isian** | Fill in the gaps based on audio |
| **Figural** | Analogy, pattern, and picture-series questions |

## How each type is scored

* Multiple choice, true/false, and fill-in questions are scored automatically by the system.
* **Uraian** (essay) needs grading. The Guru plan provides AI essay auto-grading. See [Plans, AI Credits, and Balance](https://help.agensoal.com/en/plans-and-credits.md).
* Points per question are set when you [publish an exam](https://help.agensoal.com/en/cbt-exams/publish-exam.md), using automatic or manual scoring.

## Question types and AI

When you create questions with [Generate Soal AI](https://help.agensoal.com/en/question-bank/create-questions.md), you set the purpose, grade, subject, and topic. The result appears in the workspace for you to review and edit.

> In the Question Bank list, the **Semua Jenis Soal** (all question types) filter helps you find sets that contain a particular type.
